A dynamic couple who incorporates soul, folk, and creativity into their craft of songwriting as they paint pictures of life experiences with their music.  They have been described as creative, artful, and honest.  A refreshing blend of styles that gives a modern take on folk music.

Meagen Moody grew up in Goldendale, WA in a musical family. Some of her earliest memories are listening to her dad sing and play his guitar. That influence, along with her mother encouraging her to take piano lessons, started her on musical path in life. Her years at Goldendale High School were spent playing clarinet in concert and pep band. Meagen's dad was the one who taught her guitar during her high school years before she graduated in 2004.

Chad Moody grew up in Battle Creek, Michigan, the home of Kellogg's and Post Cereal Companies.  At 16, Chad picked up his mom's old nylon string guitar and began learning a few chords.  As a self taught guitar player, Chad began putting words to chords and going out performing his songs as the lead member of an acoustic duo at coffee shops and other venues.

Chad and Meagen met in Monterrey, Mexico where they were both doing volunteer work for an international missions group.  After getting married in November of 2006, Meagen and Chad spent three years with the not-for-profit organization Musicians For Missions, which is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  Their travels took them and their music to Thailand, India, Honduras, Mexico, Ecuador, The Philippines, and on various US based tours.

Meagen began putting words and melodies to her experiences.  In May, 2009 Meagen released her first full length, studio album called "Notes To The Author" including 10 original songs that are written, arranged, and performed by Meagen. Meagen says “it has always been a dream of mine to make a CD and I feel like these 10 songs were all born out of the experiences that The Almighty has given me during my life".

Currently planted in the Pacific Northwest Chad and Meagen continue to write and perform together at various festivals, venues, cafes, and events.  The couple has always maintained their position in regards to their style and original music: "we have never set out to get rich and famous, but rather to write songs and play music that people enjoy listening to."
